The Fine Print

Booking and Payment

Securing a place on one of our trips requires a deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable once paid, reflecting the fact that, from the moment a booking is confirmed, we begin committing time and resources on a guest's behalf — holding accommodation, reserving court time, and coordinating with the various local partners involved in putting a trip together.

The remaining balance of the total price falls due no later than three weeks ahead of the trip's start date. This window gives us enough notice to finalise arrangements with accommodation providers, sporting venues, and any other suppliers involved. Where a booking is made within three weeks of the trip's start date, we ask that the full amount be settled in a single payment at the point of booking, rather than being split into a deposit and a later balance.

What Is Included and What Is Not

Every trip we arrange is built around accommodation, coaching and court time in your chosen sport, and a set of local arrangements designed to make the experience as smooth as possible. That said, certain elements of a trip fall outside what we provide, and remain the traveller's own responsibility to arrange. The lists below set this out in general terms — the specific inclusions for any given trip will always be confirmed in writing as part of your individual booking.

Sport and Physical Activity — Assumption of Risk

Padel, along with any other sport or physical activity that may form part of a Spain Sports trip now or in the future, carries a degree of inherent physical risk. This can include, without limitation, falls, collisions with other participants, and muscular or joint strain arising from exertion. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge the existence of these risks and voluntarily accept them as an ordinary part of taking part in sporting activity while travelling with us.

It remains each guest's own responsibility to ensure they are in a reasonable state of fitness and health to take part in the activities included within their trip, and to disclose to us in advance any medical condition, injury, or other circumstance that may be relevant to their safe participation. Where a genuine medical concern comes to our attention, we reserve the right, acting reasonably, to decline or limit a guest's participation in a particular activity.

Cancellations and Refunds

By you: Should you need to cancel a confirmed booking, this must be communicated to us in writing. Where notice of cancellation is given more than three weeks before the trip's start date, we will retain the deposit only, and refund any balance already paid. Where notice is given within three weeks of the start date, the full booking amount is retained, reflecting the costs and commitments already incurred on the guest's behalf by that stage.

By us: On the rare occasion that we are required to cancel a confirmed trip, for reasons within our control, guests will be offered a choice between a full refund of amounts paid, or an alternative date for the same or an equivalent trip.

Accommodation and Conduct

Guests are expected to treat accommodation, sporting facilities, and any other venues used during a trip with reasonable care, and any damage caused during a stay will be the responsibility of the guest or guests concerned. More broadly, and not only within the accommodation itself, all guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the laws of Spain throughout their trip. Where a guest's conduct either breaches Spanish law or negatively affects the wider group, our local partners, or the surrounding community, we reserve the right to remove that guest from the remainder of the trip without any entitlement to a refund.

Liability

We accept no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal belongings during the course of a trip. Save as set out below, our overall liability to any guest in connection with a booking is limited to the total cost paid for that booking. This limitation does not apply, and no such cap exists, in cases of personal injury or death arising from our own negligence.

Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to a published itinerary where circumstances make this necessary, including but not limited to adverse weather, the availability of venues or accommodation, or other operational considerations outside our control. Where such a change becomes necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative of comparable quality and value, and will communicate any change to affected guests as promptly as circumstances allow.

Photos and Marketing

Spain Sports routinely captures photographs and video during the trips we run, and by taking part in a trip you consent to this material being used across our marketing, including our website and social media channels. Should you prefer not to appear in any promotional material arising from your trip, please let us know in advance of travel, and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate that preference.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions, and any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of Spain, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
